Milena Granci is a pianist of French and Italian descent. After moving to London to complete a Master degree at The Guildhall School of Music, she is now slowly taking part in the music scene, collaborating with other musicians as well as composing and leading her own band.

Milena’s project steers away from the conventional jazz aesthetic into a realm inspired by her eclectic musical influences that embrace atmospheres from folk to classical music. Her compositions feature sensitive, melancholic, yet uplifting wordless melodies that incite the listener to imagine the stories behind them and be carried by the sounds rather than the words; a true journey into a multitude of harmonies that explore a wide range of musical emotions.

She is lucky enough to be joined by five other very talented musicians who she deeply admires and made this project come to live: Aitzi Cofré Real (vocals), Harry Toulson (alto sax), James Pettinger (accordion), Aram Bahmaie (bass) and Ollie Peszynski (drums).

The Sextet has already performed at venues like Pizza Express Jazz club (Soho), The Vortex Jazz Club, Spice of Life (Soho), Map Studio café and opened for the Larry Bartley Trio during the EFG London Jazz Festival 2021.
Milena is now working towards recording her first EP.
